This flavorful dressing is also an easy marinade for poultry, meat, tofu, tempeh, and vegetables.
½ cup balsamic vinegar
½ teaspoon honey
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
¾ cup olive oil plus 2 tablespoons
2 teaspoons shallots, finely chopped
- Whisk the vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl. Add the oil in a steady stream, whisking constantly to emulsify. Stir in the shallots.
- Cover and refrigerate for up to 5 days. Shake or whisk to blend before serving.
