Berry Oat Smoothie

Start your day off right and keep all your New Year's resolutions with this nourishing smoothie made with berries and oats.
6 or 7 frozen strawberries
1 banana, peeled and sliced
¾ cup unsweetened vanilla coconut, almond, soy, or rice milk
½ cup fresh raspberries
½ cup fresh blackberries
2 tablespoons gluten-free rolled oats
2 teaspoons agave or coconut nectar (optional)
1 teaspoon ground flax seeds
- Combine the strawberries, banana, milk, raspberries, blackberries, oats, nectar, and flax seeds in a blender or food processor fitted with a metal blade.
- Blend at high for 1 to 2 minutes, until smooth.
