Ras Al Hanout, Sweet

This top of the shop mixture is a versatile pantry staple.


5 tablespoons ground cinnamon

3 tablespoons ground allspice

2 tablespoons ground ginger

1 tablespoon ground cloves

1 tablespoon ground white pepper

2 teaspoons green cardamom, ground

1 teaspoon black cardamom, ground

1 teaspoon ground dried galangal

1 teaspoon ground mace

1 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1 teaspoon ground anise seed

¾ teaspoon lavender

½ teaspoon coriander seeds, ground

½ teaspoon rosebuds


  1. Combine the spices in a medium bowl and mix well. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 months. The flavors will diminish over time.
