This is a basic recipe that you can jazz up with fresh herbs, flavored oils and vinegars and other ingredients as you wish. It will multiply and divide easily.
1 pound fresh Brussels sprouts
1 tablespoon olive oil
½ teaspoon salt
⅛ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- Preheat the oven to 400°F. Spray a baking sheet with nonstick vegetable oil spray.
- Arrange the Brussels sprouts on the baking sheet in a single layer, drizzle with the oil and season with salt and pepper. Toss lightly to coat.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the Brussels sprouts are softened, cooked through, browned on the edges, and the tip of a sharp knife pierces them easily.
